At Skinners, we hate wasting things that can still serve their purpose perfectly. That’s why we’ve decided to give a second chance to these shoes, allowing you to save them from being scrapped. These are B-grade models found during an inventory audit. Compared to the new Moonwalker High Top model, they have a narrower opening, lack full sole stitching around the heel area, and do not include the DualSystem insole. Functionally, however, these Skinners are 100% sound – sole durability, flexibility, and the walking experience itself remain completely unaffected. You get fully functional companions for a fraction of the regular price, save your wallet, and join us in saving a fully usable product from disposal.

Our owner Petr measured 27.5 cm following our guide. When adding extra of 5–10 mm, he wears Skinners shoes in size 43. However, he wears Globetrotter and Wanderer textile shoes in size 42, because our textile shoes usually need a lower extra (thanks to the greater internal width of textile shoes). So you may (or may not) find that your leather shoes fit you a different size than your textile shoes, it is individual and depends on everyone's preference.

The Moonwalker High Top 2023 is made of premium smooth leather with a finely textured surface with small pores. The leather is soft, breathable and has very good absorption properties.

Care guide
Clean the shoes of dirt with a brush or soft damp cloth and wipe dry. Apply impregnation and a suitable cream of the desired shade and polish. For occasional maintenance, you can also use self-polishing sponges - however, these only give the leather a shine and cannot replace regular treatment with a suitable cream.

Skinners Moonwalker High Top 2023 are made from the finest leather directly from Italian craftsmen who have been practicing their craft for generations.
Zero drop rubber sole
Minimum thickness, maximum comfort
The natural rubber compound sole is only 4.5 millimetres thin (3 mm base and 1.5 mm lugs). The zero slope promotes natural foot anatomy and healthy posture throughout the body.
Wide foot-shaped toe box
Plenty of room for your fingers
Healthy walking needs proper toe engagement. So don't let them pinch in unsuitable footwear and give them enough room to secure your every step. Once you get used to the natural space for your toes, you won't want to wear any other shoes.
Pigskin and TENCEL™ lining
